Trinidad Island is considered to be the more luxurious one of a group of man-made islands in the Huntington Harbour. This community in Huntington Beach California, also includes the islands of Admiralty, Davenport, Gilbert, and Humboldt.
Trinidad features homes that have three to six bedrooms and range from 2,090 to 6,739 square feet. Built in the late 1970’s this neighborhood is surrounded by water and its perimeter homes enjoy spectacular waterfront views. It has 336 beautiful estates and homeowners can rent or purchase a boat dock along the public walkway.
There is so much to do in this neighborhood: stroll the waterfront, take the children to the park, go paddle boarding, take a boat ride in the harbour, fish off your yacht, or make friends at the dog park. Trinidad Island has many social activities with several groups like fishing clubs, garden clubs, yacht clubs, and ski clubs. There is a Mother’s Beach nearby and residents feel safe in Huntington Beach which was once named one of the “Safest Large Cities in the U.S.” by Morgan Quinto Press. Students of this community can attend Harbour View Elementary school, Marine View Middle School, and Marina High School. There are several private schools in the area as well as high education opportunities.
Nearby Sunset Beach features many restaurants and bars like Irish singer Nadine Coyle’s Nadine’s Irish Mist. There are also many merchants like Bruce Jones Surfboards which is reflective of the area’s surfing culture. One of the widest beaches in Southern California is at Sunset Beach. It runs parallel to the Green Belt which offers 14 acres of open space. This is the home of the Sunset Beach Art Festival which is held on Mother’s Day by Las Damas. Huntington Beach has many shopping centers like the Outlets at Orange, Bella Torre, and 5 Points Plaza.
